A few weeks ago, WZZM brought you the story of a Fruitport mom who had issues with the parody lyrics to "The Twelve Days of Christmas" that the middle school was singing.  Today, the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals sent a letter to the school district agreeing with her.

Fruitport Twp. (WZZM)- The family involved in a double fatal fire in Fruitport  Township had their gas shut off on January 28th because of an unpaid bill.  They were using a kerosene heater, that investigators now say, caused the fire.

A man has his son to thank for helping him escape from a fire in their Fruitport Township home, but the family is in mourning tonight after two grandchildren died in the fire.
